Your privacy is as important to us as it is to you. Therefore, at Mavom we handle personal data with extreme care. 

 

What do we do with your data?

We process personal data in order to conduct our business in the best possible way, in accordance with applicable legal obligations. The purpose of processing your data is to pursue our legitimate interest. That legitimate interest is the (digital) recruitment of personnel, bringing Mavom and Mavom's products and services to the attention of the public and getting and staying in touch with (potential) relations.

 

More specifically, this includes:

  • Handling your request for information or offers
  • Bringing Mavom to your attention and providing information about Mavom's products/services.
  • Sending (digital) newsletters from Mavom, for which you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Handling of assignments
  • Organising/inviting you to training courses, seminars and trade fairs
  • Compilation of user statistics and security of our website(s)

 

How do we obtain personal data?

Mavom collects and processes your data obtained, inter alia, through personal or written contact, expressed interest in our products/services or newsletters, participation in a seminar or completion of a web form via the Mavom site. In addition, data from public sources may be accessed. By contacting Mavom, you agree to your data being processed and included in our relationship database. This data will be treated confidentially by us and used exclusively for business contacts with you.

 

What personal data do we process?

The data processed are: NAW data company, name, business phone number and email address contact person, gender, job data, products ordered, invoice data, payment data.

 

 

Retention period

Mavom does not retain data for longer than necessary to carry out our activities, unless we are required to retain your data for longer under a statutory regulation.

Personal data security

Mavom takes all reasonable, appropriate security measures to optimally protect the confidentiality of data from unauthorised access, improper use, disclosure or loss. If, despite the security measures, a security incident likely to adversely affect your privacy should occur, we will inform you as soon as possible about the incident as well as about the measures we have taken to mitigate the consequences and prevent recurrence in the future.

We don't share information

Mavom does not share information or personal data with third parties unless we are required to do so by law. Only Mavom employees, who need the personal data to carry out their work, have direct access to your data in Mavom's systems. For the management and maintenance of our computer systems, our supplier may need access to the systems. For this purpose, Mavom has entered into a processing agreement with its supplier which includes strict conditions and confidentiality.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data. This means that you can ask what data is registered about you and for what purposes it is used. You have the right to request us to correct your data if you believe we have incorrect personal data about you. You can request us to delete your personal data from our systems. You can also ask us to transfer your personal data to another party. We will comply with your request unless we have a compelling legitimate interest not to delete the data. 

 

For technical reasons, it takes one month to delete data from our systems and backups. If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, you can contact Mavom as well as the Personal Data Authority.

Mavom reserves the right to make changes to this privacy statement. It is recommended that you consult this privacy statement regularly so that you are aware of these changes.
