This includes traditional mercury vapor lamps, but also LED equipment such as spotlights, flood lamps, conveyors and radiometers.

Since the products are often used for medical, aviation and electronics applications, they also have the necessary approvals such as USP class VI or MIL specs.

It is necessary that adhesives and lamps are coordinated. A correct intensity and wavelength distribution ensure optimum curing and properties of the products.

By using the right UV equipment, products can be cured in seconds, drastically reducing production costs and lead times. There is a choice of spot lamps, flood lamps and conveyor systems. Gas discharge lamps or LED lamps can be used. Using a radiometer, the intensity of the lamp can be controlled and your process optimized.

UV adhesives and UV/VIS adhesives are one-component adhesives that form a strong bond under the influence of UV and/or visible light. With the right lamp, this happens almost immediately, in a matter of seconds.

UV adhesives are particularly suitable for bonding glass, plastics, metal and ceramic materials. They have one important condition: one of the materials must be translucent. However, bonding plastics containing UV blockers is not a problem.

Dual cure products are available for zones with shadow.
